TIMBER

Iroko is a hardwood from West Africa. It is a very dense and durable timber which is kiln dried to reduce the moisture content to below 10.8%.

This ensures a stable reaction when used in an outdoor environment. All Hardwood provided by Eagle is of the highest quality and stained and protected with Teknos products which is a water based stain and timber protective product. The initial coating from the factory will ensure that the timber lasts over two years.

Maintenance – Aquaprimer and Aquatop products are available from Eagle in 1, 3 & 20 litre cans. At least once per year all coatings should be washed with mild detergent and water to remove any surface pollution.
